Well, we're not nerdy enough, don't have funding from IBM like Waterloo
does, and we love to diss Microsoft here and are mostly about open
source :) (or so we like to think.)
And as of last year, there are no windows computers in Bahen. Plus, why
would we want super-nerd-general here anyways? He's actually only a
good businessman and leaves the real programming to the experts. He
should visit Rotman if anything.

I think it has more to do with many more waterloo grads working at
microsoft, as compared to UofT.

We would want the "super-nerd-general" because, well, he is the
"super-nerd-general", in addition to all the other things he has done.
He is an icon and a geek symbol.

Isn't the whole dot com bust more associated with purely business
oriented people (MBAs, etc.) ? The real succesful tech companies have a
"geek DNA" (Microsoft, Google, RedHat, Yahoo, etc.).

Here's a very good movie which depicts the founding of Microsoft and
Apple: "The Pirates of Silicon Valley", and is somewhat based on the
book "Fire in the Valley" by Paul Freiberger.
