When I typed quota in a shell window on the cdf machines, I get this:

quota: "@: error while getting quota from homesrv:/h/u1 for 10001:
Connection refused
quota: "@: error while getting quota from homesrv:/h/u2 for 10001:
Connection refused
quota: "@: error while getting quota from homesrv:/h/u3 for 10001:
Connection refused
quota: "@: error while getting quota from homesrv:/s/d0 for 10001:
Connection refused
quota: "@: error while getting quota from homesrv:/cdf for 10001:
Connection refused
quota: "@: error while getting quota from debmirror:/var/debmirror for
10001: Connection refused

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks.

Fixed now. For the curious, the quota daemon process on the
file server had died. (quotas were still in effect, it just
wasn't sharing the info :)
